“A fit body, a calm mind, a house full of love. These things cannot be bought – they must be earned.” – Naval Ravikant
Staying hydrated is essential for your overall health and well-being. When you drink enough water, you reduce your risk of dehydration - a condition that leads to symptoms like dizziness, irritability, fever, and even constipation, and kidney stones. Since water contains zero calories, it's also a great way to help with weight management and reducing your calorie intake when you swap it out for high-calorie beverages such as sweet tea or soda.
Water is needed for good health and when you are exercising. We lose water over the course of the day, not only from going to the bathroom but from sweating and breathing! We will lose water even faster when it’s hot or we are physically active so we need to replenish to stay hydrated.
Our bodies have ways of telling us when it is dehydrated but we shouldn’t be waiting for these signs. Drink water throughout the day and increase your water intake during physical activity, when you are hot or feeling under the weather. But if you are seeing some of these signs then you may need to drink a little more, my recommended water intake is, For every 20 kgs of body weight, we need 1 liter of water in all the seasons, so stay hydrated.
